03 / Synthetic Osteoconductive Scaffold
A structure for new bone to grow through.
A non-mineralized, synthetic bone void filler built from a highly porous polymer scaffold engineered to give cells a structure to infiltrate and build on. Placed in direct contact with patient bone, it supports and guides new bone ingrowth across the graft site and is fully resorbed as healing progresses, replaced by the patient's own bone. It starts radiolucent and becomes radiopaque as fusion occurs, so surgeons can visualize healing in real time and catch pseudoarthrosis early. Fully synthetic with no disease-transmission risk, and compressible enough to pack into a void or suture in place. Available in block, granulate, and cube forms.
